HBL Shine and Seal System

Hello Everyone :D

I am not a HUGE fan of expensive shampoos and conditioners. They never seem to be as insanely amazing as I want them to be.

However, HBL is the first to exceed my expectations! I received the package from the company and ripped it open, running with the bottles to the bathroom so I could wash my hair. I used "the proper amount" of shampoo and conditioner, something I never ever do because I tend to be wasteful with drugstore shampoos because... I don't know..it makes my hair feel softer? Point is, I was able to get the same amount of lather from the quarter sized amount suggested than my usual way too much.

I love that just from using the whole Shine and Seal system, no other additional products, my hair was straight, shiny and looked like I had spent a lot of time ironing it.

The scent of the collection is really wonderful, light but lasted through the three days I wait to wash my hair. It seriously smelled the same when I went to wash my hair as the first day :D

I really love the thick lather and super concentrated conditioning that I get from the two products. The serum was also really wonderful! It smelled just as wonderful and was very concentrated. I used a very small amount of serum, a few drops, on my hair while damp.  Once my hair had air dried I added a drop or two more from the ends up to minimize frizz in the crazy humidity of Florida.

It is a bit pricey but in reality, at least for myself, I will be able to use it for much longer than a similarly sized bottle of Nexxus or drugstore brand shampoo and conditioner set.

I would recommend it to anyone who has money to spend on it. If you have the money, go for it! HBL is one of the best hair care lines I have ever used!

This product was sent for review, but I would totally purchase it if I could budget it into my college reality. Mm.. if I only eat from the meal plan for a few weeks...

Anyhow,

Until Next Time,

Slanted Soft Touch Tweezer from Slice: Review

Hey everyone :DDD

(The word tweezer is totally messing with me right now... it does not look right.)
Todays review is a tweezer... now, I know what you are thinking.
Aren't all tweezers the same... A tweezer is a tweezer right??
NOO!!!!! oh gosh no!!
I wish that every tweezer I have purchased had been as great as this one is
Pros--
Ergonomic shape makes it super easy to use
It makes taking out everything from the tiniest eyebrow hairs to annoying splinters a breeze
Fits comfortably in hand
Finish gives good grip for fingers, amazing grip on whatever you are trying to remove
Cute. I love the red, wish it came in more colors. Like green, purple, orange etc. It would make the product more appealing to everyone. What if someone doesn't like red?
There isn't a ton someone can say about a tweezer. I do agree with the claims made on the site. I will copy and paste them below directly. I will also include their official photos.

What do you get when you combine the design skills of famed architect Michael Graves, two years of testing and development, and collaboration with top beauty professionals, stylists and estheticians? The result is a tweezer experience like you've never had before. Perfectly aligned, hand-filed slanted tips and a wide, comfortable rubberized red soft-touch grip for expert precision, every time.
- Perfectly aligned slanted edges
- Hand-filed precision tips
- Ideal for professional brow shaping
- Professional grade stainless steel
- Soft-touch red rubberized finish
- Wide comfort grip
- For home or salon
Also available in 100% stainless steel.
Designed for Slice by Michael Graves
Isn't it pretty??
I wish that I could suggest places to purchase this wonderful tweezer. But I haven't a clue where they are sold outside of the online realm. They run for about $19.99 of what I have seen.  I would defintely suggest these to anyone looking for an alternative to a Tweezerman tweezer. I love my Tweezerman tweezers but this one is just as good.

Eylure false lashes review/demo

Alo :D
This post is about the awesome false eyelashes Eylure makes.I was sent two of their new line Naturalites to test out. One is called Superfull and the other Natural Volume. In my photo review/demo thing. I love that these eyelashes are soft, feather light and fairly easy to apply. The fact that they weigh so little actually threw me off a bit. I am used to applying fairly heavy false eyelashes for runway shows (Not me modeling but doing the makeup) when I was in a design highschool. So barely feeling the weight in my hand was strange. I had a harder time than normal applying these lashes because of it. Old habits dye hard they say.

The lashes I used in my photo demo the Natural Volume ones

The wonderful visual instructions that come on the back of the package. I love that they help in visualizing how applying false eyelashes should work.

Contents of the package. Not only does each one include its own little tube of great glue, but it has this neat little application system that makes not globbing on wayy too much eyelash glue a breeze. I also love that it is not a squeeze tube or a one time use packette.  There is a small angled stick inside that is your applicator. Scroll down to see photos of it :)

The photo below if of my natural eye lash. If you check out my last post about eyelash tinting you can tell that my skin definitely has improved due to a skin peel I recently did. That is for a later post however.

With the eyelashes on

My right eye has the lashes on and my left is my natural lashes. I love that I was able to wear the lashes all day without them coming detached from my eyelid or feeling heavy. I would recommend these lashes who want a natural looking eye boost :) They are pretty, natural (ish) looking and make the eyes look bigger and brighter without the weight of a heavy fuller lash.

That is about it.
