Hand Perfection AntiAging Hand Care System!

So, 

there is this pair of hands that everyone has seen. literally. everyone! 

Ellen Sirot has been THE premier hand model for forever and she is still going at it! 

Why am I talking about Ellen Sirot? Because she has developed a set of hand care/treatment items to help your hands look their best too! 
I was sent the Hand Perfection Anti-Aging Hand Care System. A long name with a lot of words! 

Why do you want fancy hand creams? Because your hands, along with the decolletage are the first places to give away your "age" and start aging!!! Old hands with a young face means you have either had work done or have amazing genes. Young hands and a young face means no one will know if you are 25 or 45 (hypothetically). Case being that the products are designed to keep your hands looking more youthful. 

The science behind it (according to my knowledge base) is that the skin on the backs of the hands is very thin. It does not have as many layers making it more susceptible to sun damage. In being very thin it also is more susceptible to becoming dry, there are not many oil glands on the hands to begin with and every time we wash our hands we strip away the little oil that is produced to help defend against environmental factors.

This is a quick review on a two purses I received from BagBlaze ages ago. 

Why haven't I posted about them yet? Because the only way to really test the quality of a purse is to use it and abuse it! 



The point of the site Bag Blaze is that they do sales at below retail for a limited time only. If it is there this week it will probably never be on the site again. It gives you a chance to pick up cute bags at almost as cute prices. The goal is that everything is for less the $40. Not bad for a purse. I will include the official description below.

Astara Skin Care (amazing stuff!)

Hey everyone,
So today I am going to talk about Astara Skin Care! 

First off, I want to say that all of the products were really really wonderful. I felt like they lived up to their claims, the masks didn't smell bad, and they didn't feel like they were hurting my skin more than helping (extreme sensitivity makes many things not so fun to use).

 I love the brand and what they stand for. Natural organic skin care for great skin. Fab :)

 I received three masks, the Activated Antioxidant Infusion, and the Antioxidant Light Moisturizer. 

The packaging is very nice. They all came in these heavy glass (mini sized)  jars. The only thing I would change about it is that I would put the Activated Antioxidant Infusion the same dark blue jar the full sized one comes in! It shouldn't be exposed to the light logically. Antioxidants can break down when exposed to UV light and the effectiveness of any skin car product is protected when you keep it in a cool dark place! (Mini rant.. sorry -__-")

The three masks are super cool. I picked out from the many different masks to try. The ones I ultimately ended up receiving were the Blue Flame, Violet Flame and Green Papaya. 

Lashem! Healthier, Natural, Effective lash solution!

Hello everyone!

     I am supposed to be working on getting my stuff condensed so I can make the moving to a dorm process easier .... but instead I am writing for you lovely ladies!
I got an amazing opportunity to try out some fabulous products from Lashem.

First, I want to start off with the packaging.
The packaging on the actual lash serum is amazing, beautiful, a deep gunmetal gray and with a good weight to it. I love the brush it comes with. I also love the packaging the eye gels come in. Pumps with clear parts so you can see how much more is left. Metal accents. It's beautiful!
The only (ONLY) cripe I have about the packaging is that the Double Trouble Mascara's pretty silver tube's silver coating peels. Its annoying. Silver specs get everywhere. So if you travel a lot with your mascara ,it lives in your purse/makeup bag most of the time, then it will start to peel. Just a heads up. Small annoyance in comparison to how awesome the mascara is :)   
(Edit: It seems that since I received the product from the company they have changed the packaging of the two skin care products. And maybe the Mascara? Either way they look super fab now :D I love knowing how much is left but the new silver tubes are super sleek!)

Lemon Grass Spa started out as an idea sprung by a simple spa house party, where they were taught to make their own home made bath and body products. The creator, Heidi Leist, learned about all the nasty chemicals and toxins in a lot of products today and  had an idea after attending that party. She later collaborated with the party host and soon, Lemongrass spa was born. A bath and body line based out of  Colorado, that is non-toxic and nourishing, made to pamper women, safely.

I had the pleasure of experiencing a very botanical spa like shower when scrubbing my body with these body scrub polishes. They were a real treat to my drying skin. The scents were outstandingly delicious in Pink Grapefruit and Pomegranate. I never get tired of them.

Sure anything can smell good, but how do they perform? Amazingly! My hands and whole body were so soft after use and I smelled like a fruit parfait for hours on end. I couldn't stop sniffing myself.

These body polishes WORK and if you look on the back at the ingredients, you will know why. They are jam packed with very softening oils, such  as Sweet Almond oil, Apricot Kernal oil, Coconut oil, Vitamin E oil and it goes on! All these oils mixed with fruity extracts and real white sugar makes these such a treat that you'll want to eat yourself!

I use this to exfoliate before I shave and after I shave and hands down it helps tremendously to prevent irritated bumps and razor burn. LOVE this stuff.

Ah, the body "icing".  Top it all off with a nice slathering of this and you'd be hard pressed for anything better. Another amazing treat for the senses and body. These all have very tropical and bakery scents that make me want to eat them. I used these on my hands and feet and they really did keep them quite soft. It's no surprise given their moisturizing ingredients like: Aloe Vera gel, jojoba oil, grape seed oil, cocoa butter and so much more. I put these in my purse and they are a nice pick me up to rub on my dry hands during the day. The scents are always so pleasant.

The scents I tried are: 

Berry Smoothie-A subtle berry scent.

Chocolate- It really does smell akin to the real thing. I mixed this with my peppermint body spray and smelled like a chocolate mint desert!  

Pina coloda- Smells exactly like the drink.

Freesia Blossom- A very fresh floral scent. 

Lavender mint- A really refreshing scent and great for feet. 

Sugar Lily- Like flowers dipped in sugar! 

Overall, I am thoroughly pleased with Lemongrass spa and I love their packaging. Packaging isn't always important, but for me I love eye candy as much as body candy and their presentation is very pretty. This is the best sugar scrub I have come across to date and I don't think that I would be able to duplicate all the wonderful ingredients on my own. The lotion scents are super yummy. They are a little on the pricey side at $13 a pop, but worth the treat once in a while and they have lasted me over a month so far. A little goes a long way!
